Son of Hormisdas Handfield and Joséphine Chicoine, He was born at St-Marc-on-Richelieu June 4th 1910. He entered the noviciate of " Frères des Écoles Chrétiennes " at Laval-des-Rapides, in 1927 and did his perpetual profession at Montréal in 1935. He was teacher for 22 years and occupied different positions therafter until he retired in 1987 at De-la-Salle Residence of Ste-Dorothée, Laval, where he died August 12 1996. Buried August 14 1996 at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery of Montréal. |
